FEES
As we are an independent school, tuition fees are a necessary charge to assist us with covering costs. We will however, endeavour to keep fees as low as possible.
We receive income from both State and Federal Government funding, as well as tuition fees and fundraising.
Tuition Fees are all inclusive, with the exception of the items listed below (Other Charges). Tuition Fees are payable per term or as agreed on the School Fee Payment Agreement.
The school relies on the prompt payment of fees and levies by parents to meet its financial obligations.
OTHER CHARGES
COMMUNITY LEVY
At Mawarra, we understand that it’s not always possible to support every volunteer or fundraising activity. There are many ways in which you can support the school including, working bees, bunnings sausage sizzles, assistance with the P and F fundraising and events. For those who would prefer not to, or are unable to be involved in our community volunteering and fundraising events, a fundraising levy will be charged. This will be invoiced on a term-by-term basis. A community working bee, fundraising and event calendar will be released at the beginning of every year.
ENROLMENT BOND
An enrolment bond will be requested on acceptance of your child’s enrolment in Mawarra Independent School. The bond is per student and will be refunded when your child has finished at the school, as long as the required notice has been given and all fees have been paid.
EXCURSIONS, INCURSIONS, CAMPS AND SPORTS
Excursions, incursions, camps and sports such as gymnastics and swimming are separate to annual fees and are to be paid for by parents prior to the event.
